What your company gets

A one-page summary for managers and HR. Private communication advisory for an employee whose technical work is stronger than the way it comes across in meetings.

The problem this solves

Experienced engineers, scientists, and analysts who learned English as a second language often lose influence in meetings. They lead with detail instead of the answer, hesitate on hard questions, and under-describe their own results. The work is strong. The room does not hear it. That costs the company ideas, slows decisions, and stalls a person you want to promote.

Confidentiality

Marina Lee is a U.S. business attorney. What the employee says in sessions stays in sessions. The company receives a progress report on communication skills and goals, never on the content of conversations. This is what makes employees willing to bring real situations, and it is why the work produces results.

How to approve it

  1. Confirm the employee's professional development or learning budget with HR. Most tech, biotech, and pharma companies in the Triangle have one.
  2. Reply to the employee's email with approval, or email office@ibcsuccess.com to request an invoice directly.
  3. Receive the invoice and W-9. Pay by card, ACH, or check.
  4. Optional: book a 15-minute kickoff call with Marina to share goals for the employee.
Why an attorney? For 20 years Marina sat in the rooms where hiring and promotion decisions get made. She knows what leaders listen for, and she teaches the employee to deliver it, without changing who they are.
